TALENT/KARAOKE SHOW

The Talent/Karaoke Show is probably the most anticipated event at The 12 Step Music Fest. The festivities for this event will kick off on Saturday starting at 4 in the coffee house.

Our brothers and sisters in recovery are quite a talented and varied group. Contestants will have 4 minutes to perform everything from karoke to original songs, poetry, rap, Shakespeare, as well as some we haven’t even thought of.

The atmosphere is always supportive, with the audience cheering and applauding for our fellow members. Even more so when an act is struggling or forgets the words.

After each act, baskets will be passed around the audience for donations and tallied for each performer. At the end of the show, the performer who has raised the most money for his or her act, will be the winner.

3 winners get a chance to perform their talent on the Main Stage Sunday morning and some have been invited back to perform the next year.
